Extra Deepwell Hand Pump

Stroke Length: 100 ±4mm.

Construction

A. Head Assembly: Side plate, back plate, front end & bottom end plates made from 4mm thick MS plates. Bottom flange is made from 6mm thick MS Plates.

B. Handle: Made from 40mm square MS bar of length 1320mm, fitted with counter weights & ‘T’Bar.

C. Chain Assembly: 7 pitch chain assembly welded with M12 internal threaded coupler.

D. Front Cover: Made from 2mm CR Sheet.

E. Water Champer: The top and bottom flanges are made from 6mm thick MS plate, riser pipe holder is same as in the case of standard pump. Water chamber pipe used is of 150mm NB medium class.

F. Stand: Stand flange is made from 6mm thick MS plate. The angles are as per standard pumps. Pipes used are medium class 150mm.

G. Connecting Rod: There are several options like , stainless steel and FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic). FRP connecting rods are made exclusively by us as a result of our dedicated R&D. H. CYLINDER : 63.5mm. I.D. cast iron or uPVC cylinder with brass liner , with top cap suitable to be connected to 65mm NB pipe. Plunger rods are made of stainless steel / FRP. The upper valve will be of 2 pieces. Cylinder can also be supplied in PVC, which again is an innovative concept by VAISHNO’s R&D team. This PVC cylinder, while imparting the same functions as that of cast iron cylinder, is also light in weight thereby providing ease of handling and enhances the life of the riser pipes and also it is easier to install in deeper bore holes.

I. Riser Pipe: 32mm GI pipe of medium class with solid coupler should be used to join one pipe with the other, or 32mm uPVC pipes of heavy duty construction with coupler arrangement has been exclusively developed by VAISHNO. Stainless steel riser pipes with SS male & female couplers at each end can also be supplied upon request.

Maintenance / Repair

1. A set of standard spare parts accompany each pump to sustain two years of operation and maintenance at community level.

2. The time involved for change of cup washer will be about 2 hours. The riser pipes can be removed easily for replacement of washers.

3. It is advised to use standard toolkit and special toolkit (supplied separately) for effective, village level operation and maintenance.

NOTE : According to customers’ requirement, we can supply pedestal with round or square flange instead of legs.
