Lubrication : Force feed
lubrication is provided either by plunger-type
pump or by gear type pump to large end bearings
& bush type journal bearings. Taper roller
bearings need no seperate lubrication. All other
parts are splash lubricated. Oil is filtered by
suction striner in sump and by throw away typr
filter element in by pass filter.
Governing : A sensitive
centifugal type governor mounted on camshalf gear
wheel. Class B1 governing as per IS : 11170
Cooling : Engine cooling is
done by water taken from pump itself.
Rotation : Standard rotation
is clockwise looking at the flywheel.
Starting : The engine is
designed for starting by hand cranking with
starting handle.
Drive : Standard power take
off is from flywheel side.
Exhaust System : A standard -
type silencer is fitted for adequate silencing
Air Cleaner : Oil bath type
air cleaner is fitted for efficient
filtration.

Casing : Valute & Split
type casing is scientifically designed to produce
a smooth flow, with gradual changes in velocity,
ensuring the efficiency of the pump. The casing is
made of high gradem cast iron. The standard supply
is center delivery. |
