Power Driven Centrifugal Pumping Set

BRIEF Specificationss

Type : Vertical Single cylinder, Water/Air Cooled, Totally Enclosed, Compression ignition, Four Storke, Cold Start, Diesel Engine,

Combustion chamber : Direct injection in open type combustion chamber provided in an aluminium alloy piston with long stem multihole nozzle results into low fuel consumption and easy starting

Fuel System : Fuel is supplied to the fuel pump by gravity feed through a wire mesh filter in the fuel tank and an efficient paper type element filter between tank and pump. An inbuilt filter is also provided in the injector inlet.


 
 

Lubrication : Force feed lubrication is provided either by plunger-type pump or by gear type pump to large end bearings & bush type journal bearings. Taper roller bearings need no seperate lubrication. All other parts are splash lubricated. Oil is filtered by suction striner in sump and by throw away typr filter element in by pass filter.

Governing : A sensitive centifugal type governor mounted on camshalf gear wheel. Class B1 governing as per IS : 11170

Cooling : Engine cooling is done by water taken from pump itself.

Rotation : Standard rotation is clockwise looking at the flywheel.

Starting : The engine is designed for starting by hand cranking with starting handle.

Drive : Standard power take off is from flywheel side.

Exhaust System : A standard - type silencer is fitted for adequate silencing

Air Cleaner : Oil bath type air cleaner is fitted for efficient filtration.

Standard Accessories : Starting handle, Exhaust Silencer, Air Cleaner, Spanner Set & Screw Driver

Sailent Features of Pump

Casing : Valute & Split type casing is scientifically designed to produce a smooth flow, with gradual changes in velocity, ensuring the efficiency of the pump. The casing is made of high gradem cast iron. The standard supply is center delivery.

 
 

Impeller : The impeller is made of high grade, close-grained cast iron, accurately machined on the outside, The interior passages are cast using shell cores (Dynamically balanced)

Supporting frame : Robust and Strudy. It is designed to accomodate shaft and ball-bearings. A gunmetal sleeve provides rgid support for the pump.

Shaft : This is made of special steel. Accurately machined. It is designed to transmit maximum power without vinration.

Bearings : Heavy-duty ball bearings and sleeve bearings are used to withstand radial/thrust load.

Rotation : The standard rotation of the pump is anti-clockwise when viewed from the driving end. This makes it suitable for direct coupling to the engine.
